Volvo FH trucks, reinforcing its longstanding partnership with Volvo Trucks.

The order includes three Volvo FH 4x2 road sweepers and two FH Globetrotter 4x2

spray tankers, all designed for driver comfort and efficiency.

These new vehicles stand out with premium specifications, featuring Bucher

Municipal V80 bodies on the sweepers and Schafer Technic hybrid spray equipment

on the tankers. The spray tankers incorporate eco-friendly technology, using

electric power to reduce emissions.

Equipped with Euro-VI compliant D13K Step E engines delivering 420 hp and

2,100 Nm torque, these trucks ensure strong performance. The automated 12-speed

I-Shift transmission enhances ease of driving, while features like I-Park Cool

air conditioning, 360-degree safety cameras, LED beacons, and air horns boost

both comfort and safety.

Covered by Volvo Blue Contracts for streamlined maintenance, the trucks will

serve Connor Construction’s projects across the South West of England. With

approximately 90% of its fleet supplied by Volvo, the company remains committed

to quality, reliability, and innovation in road construction and surfacing.
