a custom-built Scania 770S V8 CS23 (XL Cab), marking the culmination of a
two-year collaboration with Keltruck Scania. This extraordinary vehicle, with
its sleek and striking aesthetic, sets a new standard for excellence and

The journey began almost two years ago when Tyretracks directors Chris and
Tommy Hopton reached out to Keltruck Scania Account Manager Danny Horobin.
Their brief was simple yet ambitious: "We want to order a truck, and we
want it to be from you." From this clear vision, a partnership was forged
to create a truly exceptional Scania tractor unit. Delivered to the UK in July
2024, the vehicle underwent extensive customizations to ensure it met every
specification and expectation.
The end result speaks for itself. With a "less is more" design
philosophy, the Scania 770S V8 boasts subtle detailing and carefully chosen
enhancements that exude elegance and power. Its greyed-out exterior complements
the iconic Scania V8 engine—a feature hailed by Tyretracks as the standout
element of the truck. As Tommy Hopton put it, "The V8 engine is the best
feature," while also praising the electric cab tilt for its ease of use.
Beyond its powerhouse engine, this vehicle introduces Scania's CS23 (XL Cab)
on a 4×2 chassis—an achievement that required close collaboration with the
Scania factory in Sweden. The larger cab offers increased space and comfort,
making long hours on the road more enjoyable. Tommy emphasized, "The
increase in space is a big positive, and the cab feels really spacious inside
when driving."
